4 None really. Historically it has been sundin and Messier. nobody on the team even close to how I hated them. Especially Moose.
5 I dislike the team tooo much to bother to know who plays for them. They **** to bad and are over rated too much to bother to look. To dislike one is giving them too much attention.
6 Game 5 Stanley Cup Finals

10 It happened in stages. I was 6 when they got the franchise and didn’t watch hockey at 6 but loved the logo. I started to watch in their 1981 run and the start of towel power.
11 Geography. Really it is. But I grew up equally close to Edmonton and they were winners. Canucks though, the team belongs to the whole province.
12 Yes – 3 and some honoured and 1 not used or other designations

15)um a dude who likes the Blues. i can’t remember his name
1) Washington Capitals
2) Pittsburgh, Tampa, Carolina, and Montreal (though I’m also not a fan of any team from Philly or New York, in general)
3) Ovi, Laich, Carlson, Backstrom, and Halpern (my favorite guy, period)
4) Well, it was Tyler Sloan, but he’s gone now, so I’d have to go with Semin, like most Caps fans. The guy is one of the best/most talented in the league , but he’s just so inconsistent, and his cap hit just makes it unjustifiable (though he did finally show a little life this past year in the playoffs).
5) For Pittsburgh, it was Gonchar or Johnson, but one’s gone, and I’d have to say Jordan Staal just made me respect, and even like him, last year. For Tampa, it was Bergenheim, but he’s gone, so I guess Marty, who I’ve always at least respected, even if I’ve often hated his guts. In Carolina, again, gotta pick the Staal, since I’ve always enjoyed watching him play, when it wasn’t against the Caps, though I also like Cam Ward. And Finally, on the Habs, it’s Cammalleri (fellow member of the tribe)
6) Jan 8, against the Panthers. Caps won the game. Only game I was able to attend all year, since I live in a non-hockey town (New Orleans)
7) No, though I tried getting to a Caps/Stars game once, but had to cancel because of final exams, and another time tried getting to a Caps game in Atlanta on my way back down to school, but a snow storm in DC grounded my flight, so that too got scrapped.
Yes
9) I think that every year
10) 1996-97 season. I had started playing a couple years prior, and my dad thought it would be fun to motivate me by taking me to a game. So we went down to the US Airways Arena with my best friend (and future linemate) and his family. Unfortunately, the game was sold out. So, we found a restaurant and watched it on TV, and before heading home, purchased tickets for the next night. We finally made it in, and I was hooked from that moment on (went to over 30 games between that season and the next, including a playoff game against Ottawa, and I would’ve gone to game 5 of the Cup Finals had it been played)
11) Pretty much. I grew up in DC, going to Caps games, and became a fan at age 6, and have loved them since day one
12) Rod Langway (5), Yvon Labre (7), Mike Gartner (11, the most recent), and Dale Hunter (32)
13) Peter Bondra. He was my hero growing up, and will always have a special place in my heart.

10) The last season was my first. I came across hockey early in 2010, never going to go back. I fell in love with the sport and now I’m planning to start training (fortunately I’m still young).
11) For other reasons (they are very far from me). When I started watching NHL I was just enjoying watching hockey, but then I began to care more and more for the Penguins due to their incredibly skilled players, remarkable success and now I feel so passionate about them and I’ve grown close to the team and can’t think of being a fan of any other team. Knowing all the songs, videos on and off ice and details about them makes me love them even more.
12) Yes, three numbers: Gretzky #99, Lemieux #66 and Briere #21
13) Don’t have any one most favorite yet. With the time I will know the sport better and dive into the past better. Yet I am in today.
