For me, section and state tournaments for high school in Minnesota. Gotta love 19,559 in attendance for a HS game. The WCHA final five, and the Frozen Four would be the other great hockey experiences. All of which I’ve attended and think are far better than stanely cup playoffs (been there done that).

I go to all the “Niagara Ice Dogs” home games, OHL Major Junior”s. I walk 2 blocks over to the arena. It”s great!
The bantam’s and high school games no matter what kind of season their in. The WINNONA WINHAWKS!!!!!!!! are the best Yeh go winhawks.
OHL-Windsor Spitfires! u see a fight in every game!@ some time even 3 or more fights! going to their playoff game vs sarnia on sunday!
The Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament. Colleges and junior programs heavily scout the tournament for those breakout players. Entire communities go out to support their local schools. Up to three years ago, no other state in the nation broadcasted their hockey tournaments. There are so many great stories and histories that come from the MN hockey tournament. The Bloomington-Jefferson dynasty that won 3 straight, the coaching legacy of Willard Ikola, and the the overall history of the Northern teams. Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament.
