I would agree with Ovechkin even though crosby is dominating offensively.
sidney crosby is the best offensive player. he’s racking up a ton of points on that pens team, and him, malkin, fleury, and j staal are getting them up into contention FAST.
but you are right…hossa is the best two way player. ovechkin is the most naturally talented, but crosby outdoes him as best offensive player because of crosby’s instincts and playmaking. ovechkin would win a skills competition against crosby, but crosby would put up the points (more).
hossa, meanwhile, gets points for doing it on a team that is really struggling when he has a rough spell. he basically IS their offense since kovalchuk is having a down year. PLUS he’s managed to put together a decent +/- this year, and the thrashers have been giving up goals by the practice bucket lately.
Sid the kid baby! everytime he touches the puck, you feel like hes going to make a great play.
Crosby leads the league with 87 pts in 52 games and is a +13…
Ovechkin leads the league in goals and shots on goal but is a -12..
both are tops in most categories…
But to answer your question… I’d have to say Martin Brodeur.. The Devils is one of the lowest scoring teams in the NHL this year and yet because of Brodeur they are in First place… he also ranks top 3 in every goaltending category so far this year…
i would go will chara did u see the fake he made on Dipietro and then score the game winning shoot out goal. he can make hits and score in a shootout wat else do u need?
Sidney Crosby…Nuff said…
1- Sid Crosby-PENS
2-Martin Brodeur-DEVS
3-Steve Sullivan-PREDS
ez…Sidney Crosby..this “kid” is sick.
Crosby. he’s great in both ends, creates amazing scoring chances and he never ever loses a battle on the boards. Plus he’s highlight after highlight.
it’s too hard to compare players playing offense to deffense or deffense to goalie or offense to goalie
so i’ll give u my opinion for each!
Offense- Alexander Ovechkin. Crosby’s incredible, but Ovechkin’s got attitude, and is really good at hitting!
Defense- Nicklas Lidstrom. 3 stanley cups, 4 norris trophy winners, 9 allstar game appearneces, the game-winning goal in the 2006 winter olympic gold medal game, need I say anymore?
Goalie- Martin Brouduer. Best since Patrick Roy left, and even then they he was about equal with him. He’s gonna be one of the greatest of all time
Temmu Selanne.
He has come back from a serious knee injury where he almost had to retire. He is playing almost as good as when he was younger with a new faster NHL.
Offense- Oveckin
Defence- Lidstrom
Goaltending- Luongo
crosby or hasek
Sid the Kid… No DOUBT about it.
Hell with the STATS, HELL with the rankings…
The kid at 20 years old and is phenom.
A Team leader.
Sets the pace…
Scores the BIG goals…
Has a mouth to taunt you and the grit to back it up…..
(No wonder the GRAPE one didn’t want to meet him.)
Protects the puck like Jagr, Thinks like Lemieux, the Pertinacity of a young Forsberg.
The guy is amazing!!!!
He should get 2% of the box office draw… He’s the one drawing everyone to a sellout. No matter what barn he’s in……
Go Don Cherry!!!!
Fire Betman!!!!!!!!
Rod Brindamour of the Carolina Hurricanes. HE IS THE BEST – the CANES are the best.
I’d have to say Sidney Crosby for all his moves, shots, and amazing goals. Only thing Ovechkin is better at, is checking. Daniel Briere is the most surprising one. Having a very great season. Captain along with Chris Drury. Having a great season, one of the best in the league, especially considering not many people talk about him being one of the top players in the NHL.
sidney crosby
Malkin
jordan staal
No doubt it is Sydney Crosby. This kid is a nasty dangler and a great playmaker. Ovechkin is just good for snipin it. Crosby is the best all around player. By the way Erik Cole is the best two way player.
Crosby, just watch a game…unreal
I think it is Martin St. Louis of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
